I'm Moving...

I'm moving....

I've been in this house for the last five years.
My husband and I signed the lease a couple of weeks before
my husband lost his battle to cancer...
and I've stayed put for sentimental reasons...
even though he never actually got to move in to this home.

Anyway...I've got more room than I can use...and
the extra room is beginning to remind me of the
'Hoarders' program on the A&E.

I've found a much smaller two bedroom home...
without basement or second floor.
Rent is less and I should save a small fortune
just by lowering my utilities.
I'd been thinking about moving for several months now...
and I was 'shooting' for July 1st...
but the house I found seems to be just 'perfect'...
and they are okay with Skittles...
so..I'm moving a bit sooner than I had originally planned.

I'm not ready...but with a long week-end...I'm hoping my
kids can pitch in and help.
I still haven't decided whether or not to put my
Etsy Shop 'on vacation'...
I guess I'll 'play it by ear'.

Good luck with the new home. Sometimes change is what we need to move forward.

AGK!!! MY first thought?? Oh, NO! Where are we to go, now, during tornado warnings?!?!?! Second thought? I'm VERY excited to see the new place! :)

Kelly...I totally agree with you. I've lived in a place that has been far too expensive for 'sentimental' reasons. Now I need to live where I can 'afford' to live...and maybe I can FINALLY get me a new computer!!
Thanks for your sentiments!

Becky....Jaime's pretty close to you all...and there should be plenty of room there....or Wendy's.
I think you will LOVE the new place...it has a porch swing on the front porch!!!

I love starting over with a house, it's like a blank canvas. However, I hate the "move". Good luck and I hope it goes well.
