I'm Moving...

I'm moving....

I've been in this house for the last five years.

My husband and I signed the lease a couple of weeks before

my husband lost his battle to cancer...

and I've stayed put for sentimental reasons...

even though he never actually got to move in to this home.

Anyway...I've got more room than I can use...and

the extra room is beginning to remind me of the

'Hoarders' program on the A&E.

I've found a much smaller two bedroom home...

without basement or second floor.

Rent is less and I should save a small fortune

just by lowering my utilities.

I'd been thinking about moving for several months now...

and I was 'shooting' for July 1st...

but the house I found seems to be just 'perfect'...

and they are okay with Skittles...

so..I'm moving a bit sooner than I had originally planned.

I'm not ready...but with a long week-end...I'm hoping my

kids can pitch in and help.

I still haven't decided whether or not to put my

Etsy Shop 'on vacation'...

I guess I'll 'play it by ear'.

My Bookmarks are Available....

I had gotten to the point that I could no longer offer bookmarks

in my Etsy Shop.

Not having a car made it just way to difficult to get

the bookmarks to the Staples and laminate them....

I tried doing a bunch ahead of time and it never failed...

I always seemed to sell whichever bookmarks I was 'out' of.

So...to eliminate some of the stress...I just decided to 'do away' with them.

My two oldest children have recently decided to open their own Etsy Shop...

and they've started with bookmarks. 

Jaime and I both decided not to continue to

carry these in our own shops and we are happy 

 to have them available at

TNT Creationz.

Nothing Much New

I don't have a lot of 'news'....but I wanted to share the cool

frames one of my collectors did to frame a few of my

Steampunk Girl prints.

She painted the frames with a black enamel and then

glued some little watch cogs and wheels to the corners....

so very cool!!

I'm working on getting some Zodiac Girl pendants made for

my shop....but I ran out of supplies,

so I've got to order more.

I want to wait until they are all ready to list before listing any of them.

Starting May 26th...my schedule is going to change for the next few

months.

Jaime and I are watching the youngest grandbabies again this summer.

They're not really babies anymore...

Ava's going to be six in June and Simon was seven in October...

wow...they are growing fast.

Still they 'bore' easily and tend to wear me out quickly...

so I'm sure they'll keep us 'hopping'.

I feel bad because this is really going to cut into Jaime's work schedule, 

but the constant 'needs' of two little children, I do need her help...

We were so hoping to be all caught up and maybe even little ahead of the game,

before needing to get up with the chickens...

it just didn't happen!

Ah...such is life!

Hopefully this week 

we'll at least be able to get caught up a bit more

than we are currently.

Course...I've got my sisters coming for a week this Wednesday...

wonder how that's going to work out??

Wearable Art Back In...Bookmarks Out!

I've pulled all of the bookmarks from my Etsy

Shop.

For one thing....I don't have a car and it's getting more and more

difficult to find someone to take my bookmarks and get

them laminated.

My youngest son used to take them for me several times a week...

then he moved to North Dakota.

The son who is back in school could do it since there is

a Kinkos right across the street from the theatre where he has most of his classes...

but school is out for the summer...

so... I've decided to replace the bookmarks with the Scrabble Tile pendants...

I pulled the pendants when I got so backed up a while back

and just never put them back in.

I'm going to be designing some pendants using my Zodiac Girls...

and adding some of the other designs that haven't been

offered before.

That should keep me busy for a bit.

Zodiac Girls

Well...it took me a while but...I finally have all twelves

of my Zodiac Girls created and listed.

I'm sticking with the original twelve...

I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

and even gave them their own 'section' in my

Etsy Shop.
