Finding the Time

I haven't too much liked the
'business' side of creating.

I would just LOVE to do nothing every day
but Create brand new pieces of art.

It doesn't work that way though...
for those of us who depend on the sales of our art
in order to pay the bills.

For me though...it's been difficult, for some reason,
to organize my time in a way that I have time for everything
that needs to be done.
Oddly enough...it's worse during my slowest times
of the year.
I find myself a bit 'thrown' but not having to fill
as many orders...
then I'm not sure what I need to do with myself...
so I do a lot of 'trying to figure out what to do'.

I think it must have something to do with being
'off my routine'....

so

I decided the best thing for me to do...
is keep working like I do when I am at my busiest time of year.

And...as a result...I'll have a lot of new items to list late summer
and early fall...when things start to pick back up.

It's not easy and it's def. a pain. I wish I could just spend all day creating and I know there are many like us.

Maybe one day I will have someone to operate the business end and I can be left to create.
One day...

I find that I don't end up with enough studio time. I'm doing better with "scheduling" it daily, like I have a boss to report to. Wierd I know, but it works for me.
