Maintaining my Sanity!

I've been in the
'customer service'
profession
my entire life.

Every job I ever held required that I deal with people.
And...I've always tried very hard to do the best job I could possibly do.

To my horror, when customer service is taken 'out of my hands'
i.e....International Shipping/ Post/ Customs...etc..
I tend to Stress majorly!

Everything's okay now...the week off did wonders for my stress levels...
but I did decide to maintain fewer listings in my Shop
keeping the number of items between 150 and 175.

To do this...and still be able to list new items...
I will need to pull some of the older items from time to time.
I've already pulled some items...
Wearable Art Bracelets...
1/3rd of the Scrabble Tiles and Some Prints.

I'm right at 175...with new pieces in the works...
so  I'll be pulling more items this next week.
I've decided to put some of my 'favorites' in my other Shops...
since those shops don't get the 'love' I give to my Etsy Shop.  Course...there's
really no place quite like Etsy...but, I have a few pieces I just can't bear to
retire just yet!
 

Shop Updates...

Since the move from 1000 Markets to Bonanza,

I've spent quite a bit of time trying to figure that site out.
I've got several items that are pretty much exclusive to the site...

I was originally going to wait until after the upcoming show..

when I had a little more time..

but I made a sale within a day after moving over

so I felt I needed to begin working on the site right away.

There's a lot more that I need to do...but those things will HAVE to wait...

I plan to have 25 Scrabble Tile pendants listed in my

Etsy Shop before the week-end.

Then...next week I'll begin listing even more pendants.

I will be pulling most of my original paintings to take to the Show...

I'll put those, that don't sell, back in the Shop

once the show is over.

I'm Not Sure I Like Changes that are 'Thrust' Upon Me

I do understand that change is a necessary fact of life...

we are in a constant state of change.

But...when I'm just getting 'used' to something...

it seems someone comes along and

changes things on me.

Recently...Etsy has been undergoing a lot of changes.

I had been so used to 

looking to the right...

for 

Shop sections,

Shop Info...etc..

now that has all been moved to the left.

Not a big change I know...

but it still

'drives me crazy'.

Recently, I got an email from 1000 Markets 

saying

they had been acquired by 

Bonanza.

I had 'just' gotten used to 1000 Markets...

so Bonanza is just going to have to wait

until after the first of the year.

The items from the 1000 Markets shop have transferred

over...but there is no

'rhyme or reason' to how the items

are showing up in Bonanza

(I had them so carefully placed into their respective sections in 1000 Markets.)

But...

such is life...

constantly changing.
