Rustic Goth Shop Announcement

I will be listing the first of my new pieces

in the Shop

on - Sunday - Jan 11th

New pieces will be added

every other day or so.

I will also be listing some

"dark Valentines"

within the next week or two.

I'm really looking forward to these

little pieces.

I do like these pieces..

I do like these little ACEO pieces. I have four ACEOs, of my raggedy ragdoll on his little three legged stool...he looks so sad.

I don't know if I'll do anymore of these little guys...and they are a little sad-sack to turn into anything else.

So...this will probably be the last of this series. The original, 'A New Day' is still available in my Etsy shop.

I have sketched out quite a few new ACEOs...I really love them...but, they do look a lot different than what I have been listing.

I hope to have those pieces ready by Sunday or Monday.

In the meantime, the few 2007 Limited Edition ACEO Sale prints left, will end on March 15th.

Three of my little 'raggedy' ragdoll Limited Edition ACEO prints.

'All Alone In The Middle of Nowhere'

'What Am I Doing Here?'

'Alone On My Swing'

'Say A Little Prayer'

'Inside My Asylum'

Oh, I almost forgot this sweet little piece.....

My Paradise Lost

$5.00

Also.....look for several of my most popular pieces to become 5"x7" Open Edition Prints. I already have two of these now available in the Shop. They are....

'It's Here If You Want It'

'EveryOne Needs Some Time Off'

...

I am Weak...I'll admit it!!!

I have this adorable little tote bag available in my Cafe Press Shop. I am especially proud of my Summer Poppy painting that I used as decor.

So...I had decided that I was going to do my very, very best to only put a positive foot forward. And, I think I've been doing pretty darned good...ah..then this evening I ran across a 'Monkeybrain' eBay debate in Squidoo and fell to temptation.

I just HAD to add my two cents!!! Shame on me!

I do love to browse through Squidoo and read the lens' though!

I think my own lens' are worth a read as well...

have a look at my first one....

Did you see...?

...I'm out there on Trunkt!

I've included a 'widget' that links to my Trunkt site. I still need to do some work on it...but I was only JUST approved, so I haven't had a chance to finish it.

I've made three trips to Omaha in just over a week...this from someone who rarely leaves the house...talk about messing with my routine!!!

It has put me behind though...so, I'm hoping I can spend the rest of the week getting everything 'back to normal'...at least, normal for me! My house is 'trashed'...I haven't painted in a week...I've got shipping to do...and I've started up several new sites...........WOW! No wonder I feel tired!!

I'm Getting Around

"Bella's Bat" appeared for a brief time in my Rustic Goth Etsy Shop, as a Limited Edition ACEO Print.

She's baaaack...this time on Art Cards Wanted. Com.

I am offering only a few select pieces on that site and this is one of them.

I've included a link to that site in my Favorite Links.

Do try to check out my Rustic Goth Squidoo Lens. I update it several times throughout the day and I have included a growing list of links to other talented artists on that site. You just might find some new and emerging talent on one of my list links.

In the meantime, I will continue to add pieces from my late husband's 'Barren Trees' series, as Limited Edition ACEO prints on my http://cmzart.etsy.com/ site.

Check it out!!! I noticed there are some new pieces just available at http://www.trunkt.org/BellatrixArt. These are some really great pieces.

While I am at it, if you love jewelry, you'll simply love http://distinque.etsy.com/. I'm especially fond of her 'leaf' pieces. I think they are absolutely exquisite.

What's Love Got To Do With It?

I don't put together too many videos and the one's I do are few and far between. Every so often I have to do one, just to 'refresh' my memory. I didn't save this one correctly, so I couldn't upload it to You Tube, unless I wanted to re-do the whole thing...I didn't!

Hopefully it came out alright without saving it as an mv file.

ACEOs listings coming to Etsy

Here are a few of the ACEO originals that I will be listing, in the next week or two on Etsy. It's not all that I am planning to list....it's all that I currently have finished.

Paintings on Etsy and Art By Us...

I now have a couple of 'non-ACEO' paintings listed on Etsy and one on Art by Us.
The two paintings at the top of this picture are each on gallery wrapped pre-stretched canvas...one is 11x14 and the other is 6x12.
The painting at the bottom is a 4.5x6" painting done on cotton canvas sheet, without wooden frame support.

I plan to do paintings on both kinds of support...as the canvas sheet paintings do look good matted and framed...it's not as easy to do that with the pre-stretched pieces...thus my reasoning for doing both.

ACEOs painted in January

Most of these have already sold. A few originals are left on Etsy and a few on Art By Us.

I am offering Limited Edition prints..of ten..of most of the sold pieces.

Recently Listed AND Coming soon...+ ETSY Sale!

I have been soooo very busy lately that I haven't taken a moment to post a quick blog. I wanted to preview some of my upcoming listings on a regular basis, in this blog. It looks like I'm going to have to get a little more organized first.

Since some of these pieces are still untitled, I'm just going to post a few of my 'recently listed' and a few pieces that 'will be listed' throughout this upcoming week. (All of my 'Gertie' pieces have changed and will be listed either on eBay or Etsy this coming week.)

I have...and will have...more listings. This is just a 'preview' of what I have on and what is coming this week.

ETSY SALE --- ONLY in my RUSTIC GOTH ETSY SHOP!

I have lowered the prices on each of my 2007 Limited Edition ACEO Prints.

Several of these prints have only a few editions left before I 'retire' them. Be sure to check them out! Just click on the Etsy Mini in this blog!

New Painting on Etsy - Her and Her Cat

'Her and Her Cat' is my newest listing on Etsy.

It isn't as "dark" as I normally paint, but I wanted to experiment on a new support, cotton canvas sheets. I haven't really worked on flat canvas so I wanted to see how it ended up.

I'm pretty happy with the results.

If you are interested in this little gem, you can find her at,

59 Balloons

I find that I have difficulty 'telling the story behind the painting' when confined to a listing format. It seems that I can't really 'be myself...or something.

This is the first painting in a series I have titled "Paradise Lost". It is a series dedicated to the long process of healing. My own healing.

It is too difficult to lose someone you love...being together for more than thirty years. And the healing...even after a year it sometimes seems impossible.

So..I take the words of advice he gave to me..."paint your emotions".

Thus...the series..."Paradise Lost".

"59 Balloons"....one for each year of his life...all white...released to the heavens on the day he was buried.

I paint my emotions...trying to heal.

I sold this painting in September.
